An animated short film from The National Film Board of Canada: In this cut-out color cartoon by film artist Evelyn Lambart, two quarrelsome birds get the urge to change their plumage. A bluejay wants to be decked out in the green of cedar, and a loon in the burnished red of oak leaves. There is a moral to the story. Neither bird had reckoned on the consequences of vanity. Along comes a gust of wind, and both learn to their consternation that their natural, well-anchored feathers provided better protection. Film without words.
Un court-métrage d'animation de l'Office national du film du Canada: Dans cette coupe-couleur du film de dessins animés par l'artiste Evelyn Lambart, deux oiseaux querelleurs obtenir à l'envie de changer de plumage. A bluejay veut être paré dans le vert de cèdre, et un plongeon dans le rouge brillant de feuilles de chêne. Il ya une morale de l'histoire. Ni oiseau avait compté sur les conséquences de la vanité. En plus vient d'une bourrasque de vent, et les deux apprendre à leur consternation que leur nature, bien ancrée plumes à condition d'une meilleure protection. Film sans paroles.
