Excellent and insightful documentary on the French director, Marcel Carné. Featuring interviews with Franju, Michelle Morgan, Jean-Louis Barrault and of course, Carné himself.
The documentary covers his entire career and he talks candidly about working with Jacques Prévert, filming in occupied France with a mainly Jewish film crew and being dismissed by the up and coming writers of Cahiers du Cinema in the early 60's.
